Happy New Year!
Welcome to the new thing the Lord is about to do! This morning, when I opened my Bible app to view the verse of the day, I’m sure it was no coincidence that Isaiah 43:19 was today’s verse. The ERV reads “because I am doing something new! Now you will grow like a new plant. Surely you know this is true. I will even make a road in the desert, and rivers will flow through that dry land.
Insert silent screams because (a) “bloom where you’re planted” is my personal motto so the whole thing about growing like a new plant speaks directly to me and “b” this prophetic Word in Isaiah is an awesome Word to start the year off with.
On this the first day of the first month of the new year 2018, I hear the Lord saying “Beloved, I am about to water every dry/dead area in your life.” Every area of my success pie (faith, marriage, family, ministry and finances) and your success pie is about to experience miraculous growth and not one slice will lie dormant or wither away and die!
Now it is vital to understand that growth is neither comfortable nor is it popular. So I pray, Holy Spirit please help us prepare to be stretched and be our comfort when the road gets lonely. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
Today, join me in saying yes in faith and without hesitation to the fulfillment of the promises of God. “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; may it be done to me according to your word.” Luke 1:38 (AMP)
